To fix it, we installed our SmartJack system, which immediately stabilizes crawl space beams and floor joists. It can lift the floors above toward its original elevation, and its engineered fill addresses problem soils, the root cause of foundation settlement. Then, we encapsulated the crawl space to permanently separate the earth from the home, prevent mold, wood rot, and dust mites from further developing. Lastly, to increase the insulation and energy efficiency of the home, we installed our SilverGlo, a 2" foamboard that is made of expanded polyethylene infused with graphite for superior R-value per inch.
