This crawl space was suffering from sagging floors and increased mold, wood rot, and dust mites. To fix it, we installed our SmartJack system, which immediately stabilizes crawl space beams and floor joists. It can lift the floors above toward its original elevation, and its engineered fill addresses problem soils, the root cause of foundation settlement. Then, we encapsulated the crawl space to permanently separate the earth from the home, prevent mold, wood rot, and dust mites from further developing. Lastly, to increase the insulation and energy efficiency of the home, we installed our SilverGlo, a 2" foamboard that is made of expanded polyethylene infused with graphite for superior R-value per inch.

Here is a GREAT example of what a nasty wet crawlspace can look like after we install our products. For this project specifically, Foundation and Crawl Space Repair of Alaska had to install a Smartpipe drainage system with a SmartSump to drain any water that entered through the foundation. Once that had been installed, we then went in with our Cleanspace product over the entire crawlspace. Cleanspace is sealed all the way around the perimeter of the foundation to ensure a dry and clean crawlspace for years to come.
