This dirt crawl space was becoming a thriving environment for mold, wood rot, insects, and dust mites—and it was expensive too, as the condensation and lack of insulation was responsible for much heating loss for the homeowners. To fix it, we first waterproofed the crawl space with our signature heavy, 20 mil thick CleanSpace© liner, layered with our Drainage Matting for drainage space, added puncture resistance and durability, and a thermal break for the encapsulation system. We added our SuperSump Plus to pump all the drained water away from the foundation, and our SaniDry Sedona to clean and dry the air, draining all water directly into the sump pump. Then, we covered all vents with our CleanSpace© vent covers, which never rot or need paint, for total climate control of the crawl space. Lastly, for insulation, we installed our SilverGlo© crawl space wall insulation, a polystyrene foamboard with graphite infused for ultimate R-value per inch, and a radiant barrier that reflects heat back into the home.
