This homeowner was concerned about the smell of mold and growing moisture in her crawl space. After consulting with us for a free estimate and proposal, we got the green light to permanently waterproof her basement. Our CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation liner is 20 mil and over 2x thicker than the industry standard liner, making it perfect for a long-term solution. To improve the energy efficiency of her crawl space as well, we added SilverGlo, a heat resistant foam with a radiant barrier that traps heat back inside the home. We also installed a SaniDry Sedona, the world's most powerful dehumidifier for its size, to keep the air clean and dry in her crawl space. This is an incredibly important feature when you consider that, on the first floor of our homes, we breath more than 50% of the air that comes out of our crawl space. She's loved the results! You can see for yourself how much cleaner and safer her crawl space looks.
If you were to go to your crawl space right now, what would you find? For dirt crawl spaces, it's very likely you would find mold, wood rot, insects, critters, dust mites (you wouldn't see them, but they'd be there!), and bad odors, as well as high humidity and condensation. For this homeowner, they knew they had issues with moisture and condensation, but only recently noticed how bad it'd gotten. Luckily, we were able to do this amazing transformation for them! Thanks to our CleanSpace© crawl space encapsulation system, their home is now permanently sealed from the home. Now, their crawl space is equipped with our heavy, 20 mil thick CleanSpace© liner that is vapor-proof and warrantied for 25 years against rips and tears! Additionally, they have lower humidity, preventing new mold growth and pests, and warmer floors for lower heating costs. If you want to get a FREE estimate for your home, contact us today!
Have you been thinking about fully encapsulating your homes crawlspace? A recent customer of ours called us one day asking about the benefits to encapsulating. We recommended they get on the schedule with one of our specialist and they can come out to the home and talk through all the pros.
We met with this homeowner because they had concerns with cracks on the basement floor and along the wall. We had our System Design Specialist take a look at the home and the areas of concern. During this time they use a moisture reader to see if there is any water or moisture behind the walls as well. In this scenario, that was the case.
We installed our waterguard system to direct any intruding water to the pump that will then direct the water outside of the home. We installed our cleanspace wall system along the the walls to also control the moisture and humidity.
Lastly, we finished off the basement with our elite floor plank that is specifically designed for areas that often get water. If for any reason water does get under the flooring it, channels the water into the waterguard system so that no damage occurs.
These are highly recommended for a finishing project for those who have water concerns often.
We offer free quotes if you meet with one of our Specialist, give the office a call to get on the schedule!
We fixed this wet and troubled basement by installing our ultra-durable CleanSpace wall system, TripleSafe sump pump system, and WaterGuard subfloor drainage system. Moisture doesn't stand a chance against this basement now!
