A recent client called in concerned about water in their basement while already having a sump pump. Instead of installing an additional pump, our Design Specialist found that adding a few drains would resolve the moisture challenge flawlessly.
Due to concerns regarding uneven floor joists and squeaking flooring, a client gave us a call for our opinion. We found that there was an uneven elevation in the crawlspace. Using galvanized steel columns and aluminum footings, a number of SmartJacks with a beam were installed to redistribute the weight of the home.
A client called in with concerns about a sagging floor. We came out, provided a thorough inspection and the homeowner decided to move forward the SmartJack installation. This SmartJack system is proven to support loads greater than common floor columns, and stabilizes crawlspace beams and floor joists. It addresses weak foundation soils by creating a solid base of engineered fill to distribute the weight of the home.
