This homeowner wanted to help control their home's environment by preventing outside air and moisture from entering the home. Uncontrolled moisture in the home is easily the root cause of mold, wood rot, pests, and significant energy loss. They decided to completely waterproof and encapsulate their crawl space, utilizing our CleanSpace (a heavy, 20 mil thick liner with a 25-year warranty) and our TripleSafe, the world's most reliable sump pump due to its three powerful pumps that address the common reasons why crawl spaces flood. To harmonize these products, they also installed a full-perimeter drainage system with our StarPipe, a star-shaped pipe with a custom filter fabric, and our 2" foamboard crawl space wall insulation SilverGlo, which reflects heat back into the home with its radiant barrier. Lastly, to lift the sagging floors due to wood rot in the floor joists, we used our SmartJack system to instantly lift it - its adjustable design allows a custom fit for every crawl space!

You can see the galvanized steel pillars installed on top of engineered fill. This fill addresses the root cause of settlement, and shifts the home's weight from relying on unstable soils to competent strata.

Our SilverGlo reflects heat back into the home for up to 15% energy savings. Our drainage matting, placed under our CleanSpace encapsulation liner, provides additional room for water to flow into our drainage system, sending excess water to the sump pump.
