Photo Album: Weakened Sagging Floor Joists in Eagle River, AK

To fix this homeowner's slopping floors, we had to support and lift the weakened floor joists. So, we built a supplementary beam across the floor joists and supported it with our SmartJack system, which is built on engineered fill and proven to support loads far greater than common support columns.

To install SmartJacks, we excavate a 2x2x2 hole and fill it with our engineered fill, redistributing the weight of home evenly.

After being adjusted to lift the supplemental beam and support these sagging floor joists, the prior existing liner was put back around the SmartJack after installation.
